Receiver Appointed Mullers Removed
from HOA Boards
The Mullers were removed from both La Bota Ranch HOA boards.
Greg Ebe, Virginia “Cookie” Muller, and Albert Muller Jr and III were unable to appoint a new board that could not be either directly or indirectly influenced by the family, so a court-appointed receiver was assigned to appoint a new unbiased board.
It has been an honor to bring this historic change to my community; a neighborhood in turmoil, and a battle won against all odds.
The homeowners eagerly await the official announcement on the new homeowner board.

VICTORY! HOMEOWNERS WIN!
March 25, 2022, From attorney Doanh “Zone” Nguyen,
“After a week-long trial (March 21-25, 2022, the jury unanimously found that the Mullers, who control the 3 homeowners’ boards, breached their fiduciary duties to the homeowners. To prevail, the homeowners had to prove all four of the following at trial:
- The Mullers were not acting in the course and scope of their office;
- They did not act in good faith;
- They did not act with ordinary care; and
- They were not acting in the homeowners’ best interest.
The jury was also asked to decide whether the Mullers’ actions were protected by immunity under the Texas Charitable Organizations Act and the Safe Harbor immunity under the Texas Non-Profit Organizations Act. The jury answered “no” to both questions posed.
Judge Lopez is going to decide what equitable damages to impose. The Parties are to file briefs to the Judge within the next month. “
